YOUTH ART EXHIBIT
Exhibit Title: FACING FORWARD
STUDENT ARTWORK EXHIBIT: OPEN TO STUDENTS AGES 18 AND YOUNGER. ** I am removing the requirement to be in the GAPS district. ** What does "Facing Forward" mean to you? What have you learned or overcome that has made you stronger? What have you tried that is new to you? Is there something that you'd like to see or do? How do you see yourself, your surroundings, or the environment in the future? How do you feel about what you are facing moving forward? Use any artistic medium to express your unique point of view. Draw, paint, photographic print, graphic design an image on the computer that can be printed, collage, sculpture, and mobiles are a few ideas. Tell me how your image relates to “Facing Forward”.
Submission forms due May 31st. Acceptance will be communicated via email or phone. You can specify a preference in your submission. Accepted artwork needs to be delivered to The Crow's Foot Gallery by 6 pm June 2nd. Artwork needs to be ready for display, meaning ready to hang if it is wall art. Contact the gallery if you need assistance with supplies. If it a freestanding sculpture please specify in the description the size for display space needed. Hanging art, like mobiles, is also accepted. Again, please specify in the description. Artwork will need to be collected at the end of the exhibit. When possible, any art pieces sold will remain in the exhibit until the end when they can be collected. Pick up can be Tuesday through Saturday, June 22-26 during regular business hours.
